We are seeking to acquire a single, high-quality business that aligns with our long-term vision. Our ideal partner is a well-established, profitable B2B services company operating within or adjacent to the built environment — a sector we believe is rich with opportunity, resilience, and purpose.
We focus on businesses that meet the following criteria:
• Established Track Record
Operating for 15 years or more, with a reputation for reliability, quality, and client trust.
• Revenue Scale
Annual revenues between £2.5 million and £5 million, providing a solid foundation for sustainable growth.
• Strong Profitability
Adjusted EBITDA between £500,000 and £1.5 million, with EBITDA margins of 20% or higher, reflecting operational discipline and value creation.
• Diversified Client Base
A well-balanced portfolio of customers, with no single client accounting for more than 8% of total revenue — ensuring stability and reducing concentration risk.
• Proven Leadership Beyond the Founder
An established second tier of management capable of supporting a leadership transition, safeguarding team continuity, and preserving the company’s legacy.

George Thomas is a Chartered Surveyor and experienced entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and scaling service-led businesses. Prior to launching the search fund, George led a successful buy-and-build strategy in the UK property sector — acquiring and integrating 16 estate and letting agency businesses over a 12-year period.
Under his leadership, the group grew into a market-leading regional network trading under two respected brands, Alexander & Co and Peter Ball & Co. The business managed over 3,000 residential properties, employed 120 team members, and consistently achieved more than 1,000 home sales and 1,000 lettings per year.
In 2024, George oversaw the successful sale of the group to Leaders Romans Group, selecting a buyer aligned with the business’s values and capable of stewarding its next phase of growth.
George now brings his hands-on operational experience, strategic mindset, and commitment to long-term value creation to the next chapter: partnering with a new business owner to protect their legacy and drive sustainable growth.
We are already fully funded to complete our planned acquisition and are fortunate to be backed by a group of experienced, long-term investors.
That said, we are open to conversations with like-minded partners who share our values and long-term vision. We welcome interest from individuals or institutions looking to commit £500,000 or more alongside us.
Our investment model is based on permanent equity, with a minimum time horizon of 10 years. We are not focused on exit-driven returns, but rather on building an enduring, cash-generative business. Our target is to return surplus cash flow to investors, targeting an annual yield of approximately 15% on capital invested — with the ambition of sustained, inflation-beating growth over time.
